Pete is a Chartered Ergonomics & Human Factors Specialist and holds a PhD in Human Factors. He has experience of user-centred research in both academic and commercial settings and has worked on projects in wide range of industry sectors (including telecoms, rail, pharmaceutical, FMCG, energy) for national and global companies.
Pete’s enthusiasm for understanding people and designing products and services that take a user-centred approach has seen him conduct a variety of research and design projects. Examples include: conducting formative and summative usability testing using mixed-methods approaches, contextual research, performing expert evaluations and creating wireframes and prototypes for desktop and mobile websites.
He also loves spreading the word about the benefits of user centred design and teaches on several of Bunnyfoot’s training courses, including UX Strategy and User Testing. He has also presented at international human factors conferences, UX events and has published a number of scientific journal articles and blog posts.
Pete is a self-confessed research geek, but when he’s not asking questions about how things work he spends his free time exercising, playing the guitar, fussing his cats and exploring the countryside.
