David is a highly experienced digital communications professional who has spent over 15 years working on both private and public sector digital projects. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Design and Interactive Media.
David has extensive experience in all areas within the user-centred design methodologies. His passion for the industry has extended to developing and managing the UK’s first awards for user experience, the UXUK Awards. He has managed and worked on a number of large international research projects and has vast experience in international customer differences. These projects have involved managing the build and testing of an international business banking system for IsBank in Turkey, cross-platform research and testing for Boden in the USA, France and Germany as well as website and brand research for Forevermark in the USA, India and China.
More recently, David has worked on developing a solution for the Financial Conduct Authority around licensing for their consumer credit market involving workshops, personas, UX guidelines and testing. He has also worked on research projects for M&S, Tesco, Chatham House, EDF Energy, Mitchells and Butler and many others.
Outside of work, David is passionate about European city breaks, photography and is learning Italian.
