Alex is experienced in a variety of user-centred design techniques including heuristic analysis, requirements gathering, user testing, wireframing and prototyping. He is passionate about truly understanding the behaviours and needs of users, in order to create meaningful solutions that answer the objectives of businesses.
Alexander holds an honours degree in Industrial Design from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Once graduated he followed a different career path to become a sommelier, which formed his interest in service and customer interaction. This led him to further studies in user centred design. He is passionate about really getting to know the needs of users and creating harmony between technology and business objectives.
Alex began his UCD career in Australia working on projects from start-ups to government and to financial services. Where he gained experience conducting user research, stakeholder engagement, wireframing, prototyping and user testing both mobile and desktop products across Australia and the US.
Alex is passionate about all things UX and applying UCD principles to all aspects of his work. He has a strong interest in rapid prototyping and applying industrial design techniques to web products. He takes most pleasure in tackling complex problems and turning them into intuitive and simple solutions.
