We’re thrilled to announce we are once again sponsoring the Service Design Fringe Festival taking place on the 24th and 25th October 2019.
The Service Design Fringe Festival is the first and only service design festival in London. Since 2014, it has been contributing to increase recognition, employment and the critical value of service design as an industry. This year, our focus is on service design in times of uncertainty. From planet-centric design to future-proof business.
Bunnyfoot consultant, Mila Kayukala, will be hosting a session at the London Design Museum. We will also be taking part in the ‘Speed networking & job fair‘ at the Barbican Centre.
About our session
One of the themes this year is ‘Can Service Design save the planet?’ and our talk focuses around this very topic.
Eco versus Ego: designing sustainable services
Life-centred design. Planet-centred design. Sustainable UX. Lean design. Digital sobriety and digital waste. Are all of these new fashionable trends or the industry’s response to what is happening to the planet?
Learn about the environmental impact our digital products and services create and how we can be strategic about sustainability when kickstarting new projects.
This talk takes place on Thursday 24th October at The Design Museum.
Meet us at the networking event
The festival loves connecting people and growing the community so it has organised a speed networking and job fair and we’ll be there! It’s a great chance to chat to us and other companies working in the field.
This event is being held in the Barbican’s Conservatory Terrace so you’ll be in good company as well as 2000 plant species!
