About Rebecca
Rebecca has over 20 years of research experience, spanning academic research, market research, human-centred design and usability. She holds a DPhil in Behavioural Ecology from Oxford University which focussed on context dependent decision-making and risk sensitivity. As well as being CPUX-F and CPUX-UT certified she has a Professional Diploma in Marketing (CIM) and Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing (Dip DigM).
She has a passion for delivering training, teaching our most popular course Certified Professional for Usability & User Experience (CPUX-F), since 2015 alongside leading projects with a wide range of clients including The National Archives (legislation.gov.uk), HSBC, Houses of Parliament, Oxfam, HFEA, Tesco, Lawn Tennis Association, Warwick Business School and Investec.
She loves to work closely and collaboratively with clients, really getting to know their domain and their customers. For example, working with The National Archives for over 10 years on complex projects meeting the challenges of publishing and presenting legislation, with all its complexities, online to a diverse range of users with vastly different levels of understanding of how legislation works.
Rebecca has practised and supported others developing their skills in many UX methodologies including usability testing, expert evaluation, card sorting, depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research, ideation workshops, personas, customer journey mapping and more. She is highly experienced in stakeholder engagement.
Outside of work Rebecca loves to lift weights, cycle, grow her own vegetables, and adventure near and far with her family in her camper.
