The Accommodation
Laguneta is situated in a quiet side street, nestling below the Castillo. There are spectacular views to Gibraltar, the North African Coast, The Hacho, the Castillo and the village.
Each of the 5 properties is ideally suited to couples or families with small children (a cot and high chair are available), however the whole villa can be booked for your exclusive use (sleeping 13 adults)
We also offer long winter lets, of up to 3 months.
1. Courtyard Apartment - Sleeps 2
- Double bedroom (5 foot bed), fitted wardrobe, and en-suite shower room
- Fitted kitchen area with marbled granite worktops (Hob, Oven, Fridge, Microwave)
- Living room with wood burning stove, and sliding glass patio doors leading onto
- Private dining terrace, facing the courtyard and Pool
2. First Floor Apartment - Sleeps 2
- Double bedroom (5 foot bed) fitted wardrobe, and en-suite shower room
- Fitted kitchen area with marbled granite worktops (Hob, Oven, Fridge, Microwave)
- Living area with sliding glass doors leading onto
- Full size private dining area (superb views)
3. Top Floor Apartment - Sleeps 2
- Double bedroom (5 foot bed) fitted wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom (small bath) and shower.
- Fitted kitchen area with marbled granite worktops (Hob, Oven, Fridge, Microwave)
- Separate marbled granite dining area, with views over the orange and lemon trees
- Open plan living area (with wood-burning stove), with glass patio doors leading onto a private terrace (superb views)
4. Casita - Sleeps 2
Ground Floor
- Twin bedded room (3 foot beds) with fitted wardrobe
- Separate shower room
First Floor
- Fitted kitchen area with marbled granite worktops (Hob, Oven, Fridge, Microwave)
- Living area (this is large enough for communal dining when the whole villa is booked by one group) , leading onto a large terrace, with a separate shaded dining area
5. Casa - Sleeps 5
Ground Floor
- Triple bedded room (3 foot beds) with fitted wardrobe
- Separate bathroom with full size bath and shower
First Floor
- Double bedroom (5 foot bed) with fitted wardrobe
- En-suite shower room
Second Floor
- Fitted kitchen area with marbled granite worktops (Hob, Oven, Fridge, Microwave)
- Living area with wood burning stove, leading onto Large terrace (superb views) and separate dining terrace (fully shaded in the summer)
General Facilities
- We have a separate Laundry room -2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers (winter use only)
- All dwellings are provided with a toaster, electric kettle, and CD player/radio (there is excellent reception to BFBS Gibraltar which has a mix of Radio 4 and Radio 5)
- We can provide a cot, high chair, iron, and ironing board on request
- We have one TV (Sky satellite) and DVD player-if you really need one!
- There are 2 barbecues available, for use in the courtyard only please.
- Every property has its own loungers and cushions for use on the balconies.
- There are smoke alarms in all properties, and 3 fire extinguishers are provided (one in each property with a wood-burning stove and one near the Laundry room/barbecues).
Courtyard and communal areas
- The courtyard is a communal area. It is covered by a shade for the summer months.
- We have provided tables and chairs in the room next to the Laundry for outdoor dining.
- All communal areas are well lit, with the entrance hall and stairs on timer switches.
- The only entrance to the property is via the wrought iron gate, which is lockable, giving you extra security when you are renting the whole villa.
The Pool and Terrace
- The only access to the pool is up the stairs from the courtyard. There is a gate at the top of the stairs for added safety.
- The Pool is 8 x 4 metres with a depth of 1.00 metre to 1.5 metres. Access is via steps at the shallow end.
- We don't heat the pool, but it is very pleasant from late May to late September. If you are really hardy it is possible to swim all year round!
- There is a large communal terrace leading up from the pool, which is partially shaded by the Carob tree
